Help! I dont feel so good...?

i had a urine infection about 5 days ago and took Cipro for 3 days everything went well..about 2 days ago i started getting lower back pains and pain between my belly button and my right hip..ive also been getting pains shooting down my right leg..Whats wrong with me?

It sounds as if your UTI has travelled to your kidney.
You need to be treated appropriatly.
I would call your doctor today and try to get into see him/her assoon as possible.
Urinary tract infections can often lead to kidney infections, which is what this sounds like. Just make an appointment with your doctor as soon as possible and explain it all to them! Good luck!
Lower back pain is common with UTIs, but once you have been on the antibiotic for about 24 hours you should start to feel better not worse, its best to follow up with your doctor, let him know the new symptoms so additional tests can be done.
Maybe something totally unrelated. Cipro generally isn't used for bladder infections --- most docs prefer Septra or Bacterim. See your doc. In the mean time, if it still hurts when you urinate, drink lots of cranberry juice until you get to the office.
